Kevin S. Horwitz

Responsible for identifying, evaluating and supporting innovation and Insurtech opportunities as well as oversight of the development of RLI’s insurance policies from inception to sale.

Horwitz joined RLI in 2010 as director, claim, in the Chicago branch office. He was promoted to assistant vice president, claim, in 2013 and vice president, claim in 2015 before being appointed the vice president of the newly created Innovation Management & Policy Development Department in 2021. Prior to joining RLI, Kevin worked as a claim consultant in the Environmental and Mass Tort Claim Department with CNA in Chicago. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in history from the University of Illinois and a JD with Honors from the Chicago-Kent College of Law.
