Tom Brown

Tom Brown is an experienced professional in operating technology and financial systems, currently serving as the Director of Operating Technology at RLJ Lodging Trust since August 2016. In this role, Tom oversees the management of software applications and IT support staff, along with technical training and professional development. Prior to this, Tom held the position of Manager of Applications Support at First Potomac Realty Trust from May 2013 to August 2016, where responsibilities mirrored those at RLJ Lodging Trust. Tom's career began at The Shelter Group, where Tom served in various capacities, including Senior Systems Software Specialist, leading teams and providing guidance on application solutions. Tom holds a degree from the Community College of Baltimore County and is currently pursuing further education at the University of Maryland Global Campus.
