Senior Interior Designer And Director, Pittsburgh Office at RLPS Architects

Kristin Novak has a diverse work experience in the field of interior design. Kristin began their career as a Design Intern at Fisher Group, LLC in 2009 and later worked as a Design Intern at American Eye in 2010. From 2009 to 2011, they served as a Swim Coach at Arlington Aquatic Club. In 2011, they joined AECOM as an Interior Designer, where they worked on various projects in the commercial, government, and healthcare sectors. Some notable clients and projects they worked on include Hines Interests, The Lenkin Company, Quadrangle Development, Cassidy-Turley, NASA Langley, Social Security Administration, and the Army Corps of Engineers at Ft. Sill, OK. In 2014, they joined Cooper Carry as an Interior Designer for a brief period before transitioning to RLPS Architects, where they held the roles of Interior Designer and later Senior Interior Designer and Director of the Pittsburgh Office. Their current role and the dates of their employment at RLPS Architects are not specified.

Kristin Novak completed their Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Interior Design from The George Washington University in 2010. Prior to that, they attended the University of Pittsburgh from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Studio Art/History of Art & Architecture. In 2013, they also obtained their NCIDQ Certification (NCIDQ) from the Council for Interior Design Qualification - CIDQ.
