Shree Khare

Vice President at Risk Management Solutions

Shree Khare has a diverse work experience in the field of catastrophe research and risk modeling. Shree started as a Postdoctoral Scientist at SAMSI in 2004, focusing on ensemble data assimilation. Shree then moved to NCAR as a Postdoctoral Scientist in 2005, contributing to geophysical data assimilation research. In 2006, they joined RMS in model development, where they worked until 2017. Shree then transitioned to Hiscox as the Group Head of Catastrophe Research, leading the R&D team until 2020. Currently, Shree Khare is the Vice President at RMS, overseeing model development for physical risk under climate change, where they have led the development of various Climate Change Conditioned models and is currently working on a Global Physical Risk Modelling System.

Shree Khare completed a Bachelor of Science in Honours Physics at the University of British Columbia from 1994 to 1999. They then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy in Atmospheric Sciences at Princeton University from 2000 to 2004. Recently, Shree completed a Master of Science in Mathematical Finance at the University of York from 2018 to 2022.
