Plum Ertz is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and team management. Currently serving as Senior Director of Engineering at Ro, Plum coordinates teams across patient-facing Care Verticals and leads digital accessibility initiatives, alongside mentoring engineers and engineering managers. Previously held positions at BuzzFeed included Staff Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer, where significant contributions to site replatforming and accessibility improvements were made. Plum's career also includes roles at Datavore® Labs, Genome LLC, TMP Worldwide, Muhlenberg College, and various internships, showcasing expertise in user interface development, technical growth management, and cross-functional collaboration across multiple projects and organizations. Plum holds a Bachelor's degree in Media and Communications and Economics from Muhlenberg College.
