John Martin

John Martin is a seasoned professional in transport policy and regulation, currently serving as the Policy Manager for the Road Haulage Association since June 2019. Prior experience includes key roles at the Department for Infrastructure, where John held positions such as Head of the Transport Regulation Unit and Deputy Head of the Transport Regulation Unit. A former Head of Enforcement & Compliance Policy at the Driver & Vehicle Agency, John also served in senior enforcement roles at the Department of the Environment. John began the career as a Motor Vehicle Technician and holds a degree from Lisburn College of Higher Education.
