Michael Clark has worked in the software engineering field for over 30 years. Michael began their career at IVC, Inc. in 1992 as a Principal. In 2002, they joined Lutheran Family Services in the Carolinas as the Vice President for Information Services. In 2006, they became the Chief Programs Officer at Appalachia Service Project, where they were responsible for the recruitment, training, scheduling, and housing of 15,000 volunteers annually. In 2012, they were the Software Developer Lead for New River Valley Unwired, where they led a team of developers in designing and building a distributed IoT system. In 2018, they joined LabConnect LLC as a Software Developer, where they developed and maintained ETL pipelines and created automation tools. Finally, in 2019, they joined Target RWE Health Evidence Solutions as a Sr. Software Engineer, where they built back-end API microservices and employed textual data analysis techniques. Currently, they are a Sr. Software Engineer at Roadie, starting in 2022.
Michael Clark has a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from North Carolina State University in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the same institution. Michael also holds various certifications from Coursera Course Certificates, obtained between 2014 and 2015, including R Programming, The Data Scientist's Toolbox, Programming Cloud Services for Android Handheld Systems, Programming Mobile Services for Android Handheld Systems, and Programming Mobile Applications for Android Handheld Systems.
