Senior Director, Customer Service Operations at Roadrunner Freight

Sherry Meddley is the current Senior Director of Customer Experience at Roadrunner Freight. Prior to their current position, they served as the Senior Customer Experience Manager at Roadrunner Transportation Systems from June 2019 to June 2020. Before that, they were the AAA Regional Call Center Operations Director at AAA East Central from June 2017 to June 2019. In this role, they were responsible for providing leadership to and directing the activities of all East Central Emergency Road Service (ERS) Call Centers located in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, West Virginia and Southern New York on a 24x7 basis. Sherry also oversaw the performance of the people, operations, financial, cost structures and project management of the working groups. Meddley has a long history of developing strategies, business plans, and ensuring compliance to meet the needs of members and ERS call center personnel. Sherry is also experienced in formulating and administering policies, procedures, and controls to improve member service and maximize member satisfaction. Meddley is a collaborative leader who has experience working with other business units’ management to develop strategy, initiatives, and implementation of processes to achieve organizational goals. Sherry is also an effective communicator who has provided leadership, direction and oversight to 220+ ERS employees working in the ERS call centers as well as a large staff including managers, supervisors and dispatch personnel.

Sherry Meddley has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resources Management and Services from Strayer University, a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Business Administration and Management, General from Franklin University, and certification from Lynda.com in New Manager Foundations.

Their manager is Frank Hurst, President. They work with David Ross - EVP, Michael Grima - VP, Safety & Maintenance, and Scott Ware - SVP, Transportation.
