Ines Staes is an R&D Manager at Roam Technology, where they previously focused on bacteriophage-host interactions in bioreactors. With a strong background in life sciences, Ines conducted research during their PhD at Research Foundation Flanders, investigating infection dynamics in Salmonella Typhimurium. They have authored multiple journal articles and presented at several scientific conferences while also gaining experience in teaching and mentoring students at KU Leuven. Ines holds a Doctorate in Bioscience Engineering and a Master's degree in Cell and Gene Technology, both from KU Leuven. Currently, they are in the process of finishing their PhD and are seeking new opportunities.
