Leslie Wolcott

Leslie Wolcott has an extensive work experience in communications, teaching, and writing. Leslie currently serves as the Director of Communications at Roanoke Chowan Community Health Center. Prior to this, they worked at the NORTH CAROLINA COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER ASSOCIATION, where they were responsible for communications and emergency preparedness. Before that, Leslie was the Communications Director at the Florida Policy Institute, managing all communications for the organization. Leslie also has experience as a visiting instructor and adjunct instructor, teaching writing and civic engagement at the University of Central Florida, Lansing Community College, and Baker College of Jackson. Additionally, Leslie has contributed to various publications and organizations, including the Peace Education Center, Green Daily, Lansing City Pulse, and the US Forest Service.

Leslie Wolcott completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from The University of Georgia from 2001 to 2005. Leslie then pursued a Master of Arts degree in English with a focus on Literature and Environment from the University of Nevada, Reno, from 2005 to 2007.
