Teresa Ramey is currently the Vice President for Community, Diversity, and Inclusion at Roanoke College. Teresa has been in this role since July of 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students at Francis Marion University from April 2010 to June 2019. Before their time at Francis Marion University, Teresa worked at various other higher education institutions in positions such as Director of Housing and Residence Life, Assistant Dean of Students, and Coordinator of Student Judicial Programs.

Teresa is currently ABD in Doctor of Education programs at Northeastern University in both Higher Education Administration and Higher Education Administration. Teresa also has a certification in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education as well as a certification in Texas Civil Practice and Remedies Code (Alternative Dispute Resolution) from the South Plains Association of Governments.
