Jan de Koning Cfa, Caia

Jan de Koning, CFA, CAIA has extensive experience in the finance industry. Jan started their career in 2002 as the Owner of Centuria Capital B.V., where they provided real-time research to retail, high net worth individuals, and small institutional investors. In 2007, they joined Van Lanschot Bankiers N.V. for a traineeship in Private Wealth/Investment Advisory. Jan then co-founded Somerset Capital Partners in 2008, where they managed two absolute return hedge funds and was responsible for starting up the company, analyzing investment opportunities, and marketing the funds. In 2012, they worked at Goldman Sachs as a Client Advisor, serving as a fiduciary manager for Dutch pension funds and insurance companies. Jan'sresponsibilities included asset allocation, risk management, and manager selection. From 2015, Jan has been with Robeco, initially as a Client Portfolio Manager for Quant Equities, where they focused on client interactions and repositioning enhanced indexing. Currently, they serve as the Head of Quant Client Portfolio Management at Robeco, overseeing the management of developed and emerging markets equity portfolios, as well as the commercial positioning of the Core Quant Equities team's offerings.

Jan de Koning, CFA, CAIA has a comprehensive education history in various fields of study. In 2007, they obtained a Master's degree in Organizational Studies from Tilburg University. In 2005, they became a Charterholder of the CMT Association after completing their studies in their program.

Continuing their professional development, Jan achieved the CFA designation in August 2015 from the CFA Institute, having completed their studies between 2013 and 2015.
