Alberto Sala

Alberto Sala, PhD has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Alberto is currently serving as the Head of IT recruitment at Robert Walters, a global consulting firm specializing in middle, top, and executive management recruitment. Prior to this, Alberto worked at Meta as the EMEA Tech Recruiter for Reality Labs. Alberto also held the position of Manager at Michael Page Technology, where they managed data analytics and visualization teams. Alberto's previous experience includes roles at Robert Walters Japan as a Manager in the Consulting & Advisory team, a Senior Consultant, and a Consultant in Front Office & Operations. Alberto has also worked as a Technical Staff at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) and as a Special research student and JSPS Postdoctoral Fellow at The University of Tokyo.

Alberto Sala, PhD, completed their Bachelor's degree in Materials science and engineering at the Università degli Studi di Genova in 2010. Alberto then pursued their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Materials science and engineering at the same university from 2010 to 2012. Alberto Sala further continued their education at the Università degli Studi di Genova, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Material science and technology from 2012 to 2015.
