Isabel Cuervo, PhD, currently serves as a Program Officer at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Prior to this role, Isabel was a Senior Research Associate at the Barry Commoner Center for Health and the Environment, where leadership included community-engaged research focused on health and safety for low-wage and immigrant workers, as well as managing ethics review protocols and grant proposals. Isabel's academic experience encompasses teaching positions at LaGuardia Community College, Sarah Lawrence College, and City College of New York, with courses centered on environmental psychology and urban studies. Additional contributions to education include serving as an NSF GK-12 Science Now Fellow, a CUNY Writing Fellow, and a Parent Outreach Coordinator. Isabel holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Psychology from The Graduate Center, City University of New York, and a BA in Architecture from Barnard College.
