Alex Brashear

Alex Brashear is a product manager with extensive experience in the tech industry, currently working at Robinhood as a Product Manager for both Crypto and Money Movement since September 2021. Prior to this, Alex spent over six years at The New York Times, progressing from an iOS Engineer Intern to Technical Product Manager, where significant contributions included leading initiatives to enhance app development efficiency and winning the Publisher’s Award for impactful work during the 2020 elections. As a co-founder and iOS App Developer at Recap, Alex engineered a successful photo-sharing app, receiving grant funding for the project. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania and has also worked as a teaching assistant and in machine learning research.
