Kevin Yang

Kevin Yang, CFA, is an experienced financial professional currently serving as the Head of Fraud for the Credit Card division at Robinhood, where responsibilities include managing credit card fraud strategy, data science, fraud operations, and investigations. Prior to this role, Kevin was the Head of Fraud (Strategy & Operations) at X1, which was acquired by Robinhood in July 2023, and the Merchant Risk Director at Kafene. Kevin's previous positions also include serving as the Head of Fraud and Data Science at Gemini, a founding member of the Gemini Credit Card initiative, and Senior Manager of Fraud Strategy & Analytics at Fair Square Financial, which was acquired by Ally Bank. Earlier in the career, Kevin held roles at Citi as VP of Credit Strategy & Analytics, and at Verus Investments as a Quantitative Research Analyst. Kevin holds an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business, an M.S. in Computational Finance and Risk Management from the University of Washington, and dual B.S. degrees in Theoretical Mathematics and Finance from The Ohio State University.
