Air Traffic Control Specialist, Controller in Charge at Robinson Aviation

Brian Serafin has a diverse work experience that spans various industries. Brian started their career in 2015 as a Security Supervisor at Hilton before transitioning to roles in air traffic control. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as an Air Traffic Control Supervisor at DynCorp International and later at Midwest ATC as an Air Traffic Control Supervisor & Site Coordinator from 2016 to 2017. Brian then joined the Federal Aviation Administration as an Air Traffic Control Specialist, Controller in Charge from 2017 to 2018. In 2018, they returned to Midwest ATC as an Air Traffic Control Supervisor until 2019. In the same year, they also worked at HarborWalk Village as a Team Leader and later as a Training & Development Supervisor. In 2019, they joined Vinnell Arabia as an Air Traffic Control Specialist, Controller in Charge. In 2020, they held various roles at HarborWalk Village, including Shift Leader and Training Specialist, Security Lieutenant, and Security Captain. Brian is currently employed as an Air Traffic Control Specialist, Controller in Charge at Robinson Aviation (RVA), Inc. Additionally, Brian Serafin has self-employed experience as a Filmmaker, Photographer, and Media Editor, working on various media projects within the local community.

Brian Serafin's education history is as follows:

- 2010-2013: Brian attended the Community College of the Air Force, where they obtained a Technical Specialization degree in Airspace Operations & Management.

- 2007-2009: Brian pursued General Studies at Northwest Florida State College.

- 2018: Brian completed Radar Training Familiarization from the Federal Aviation Administration.

- 2020: Brian enrolled in Florida Atlantic University and obtained a Certification in Hospitality & Tourism Management.

- 2020-2023: Brian pursued a Certification in Hospitality Administration/Management from Asean Online Education AOE.

- 2022: Currently, Brian is attending Southeastern University, majoring in Ministry Leadership.

In addition to their formal education, Brian has obtained several certifications, including an FAA Control Tower Operator certification from the Federal Aviation Administration, obtained in December 2020. Brian also has certifications in Customer Service, Hospitality Management, and Intro to Hospitality Management from Alison. Furthermore, Brian holds a U.S. SECRET Clearance from the United States Department of Defense and an FL Class D License - Security Officer from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Brian also completed training in Anti-Terrorism Awareness and Combating Trafficking In Persons through the Joint Knowledge / Department of Defense. Additionally, Brian obtained an FAA Class II Flight Physical in September 2021.
