Sandy Detherage has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Edwin L. "Sandy" started their career in the United States Air Force as an Air Traffic Control Specialist from May 1976 to May 1980. Following that, they joined the Federal Aviation Administration and worked as an Air Traffic Controller/Manager until June 2012. During this time, they retired from their managerial position. In 2012, Sandy joined Melissa ISD as a Substitute Teacher until May 2016. Simultaneously, they also worked at Barnabas Mission as a Mentor starting from an unknown date in 2012 and later took on the role of a Life Coach from September 2016 onwards.
