Anita Macias has a wealth of work experience. Anita began their career in 2003 as the Director of New Programs at EDMC, where they managed new program rollouts and provided support and training to Admissions and Academic teams. In 2011, they moved to South University as the University Registrar, providing system-wide leadership and support to Campus Registrars and Deans, chairing the Academic Policy Committee, and managing the adoption and implementation of strategic initiatives. Most recently, in 2020, they joined Robots and Pencils as a Sr. Client Strategy Analyst.
Anita Macias earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in History from the University of Pittsburgh in 1991. Anita then went on to receive their Master of Library & Information Science (M.L.I.S.) from the University of Pittsburgh in 1992.
