Loren Schriefer

Loren Schriefer has held various roles since 2010. In 2010, they were a Teacher for Summer Dreamer's Academy and an Intern for Steeltown Entertainment Project. In 2012, they were a Teacher & Substitute for The Chilean-British Institute. From 2013-2015, they held two roles at Auto Europe Car Rental, as a Pricing Analyst and a Spanish Speaking Sales Agent. During this same time period, they were also a Teaching Assistant for the New York Film Academy, a Studio Associate for WakeyWakey Studio, and a Substitute Teacher for Portland Public Schools. From 2016-2018, they held three roles at The University of Texas System, as an Instructional Producer at the Institute for Transformational Learning, a Production Assistant at the Institute for Transformational Learning, and an Instructional Technology Specialist, Department of Nutritional Sciences at The University of Texas at Austin.

Loren Schriefer has a diverse educational background. Loren obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Film/Cinema/Video Studies and a Certificate in Latin American Studies from the University of Pittsburgh in 2012. During their time at the University of Pittsburgh, they also attended Pittsburgh Filmmakers, where they studied Cinematography and Film/Video Production. Loren also spent time abroad, studying Spanish Language and Latin American Studies at Universidad de Belgrano in 2011 and Digital Video at Universidad Autónoma Benito Juárez de Oaxaca in 2010. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Education in Learning Technologies at The University of Texas at Austin, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
