Ted Goddard

Ted Goddard is a seasoned data scientist and software architect with extensive experience in natural language processing and knowledge representation. Currently serving as Principal Data Scientist at Robots and Pencils Inc. since August 2014, Ted specializes in application and visualization of advanced machine learning models, question-answer integration, and development of interactive conversation platforms. Prior roles include Chief Software Architect at ICEsoft Technologies Inc., where Ted led the development of a notification platform and contributed to open source communities, as well as technical positions at Wind River Systems and Sun Microsystems. Ted began a successful academic career as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Emory University, focusing on collaborative computing frameworks, following an educational background in Mathematics with both MSc and PhD degrees from the University of Calgary and Emory University, respectively.
