Jean van Eeghem

Jean van Eeghem has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Jean currently works as a Strategic Business Development Manager - Industry at Robovision since November 2022. Prior to that, from June 2016 to November 2022, they were employed at Atkore Vergokan, where they held the role of Area Sales DACH & Business Development Manager. Before that, from January 2014 to June 2016, they worked as a Consultant at an independent business consultant firm.

Between 2011 and 2013, Jean worked at Philips Lighting as part of the Philips Retail Solutions venture Marketing team. During this time, they spearheaded the automated analytics program and successfully built it to a commercial level. Jean also played a key role in shaping new internal processes for growth.

Jean's previous work experience includes roles at Philips Consumer Lifestyle New York, where they served as a Sr Marketing Manager, focusing on consumer marketing and product innovation. Jean was responsible for launching innovative products such as the Wireless HDMI link and building business cases. At Philips Sound Solutions, they held the role of Sr Key Account Manager APAC, expanding customer relationships and driving customer satisfaction.

Jean's career with Philips began at Philips Semiconductors Netherlands, where they worked as an International Product Manager. Their responsibilities included developing the digital amplifier market and launching the DAmplifier consumer brand. Jean also maintained and built the business of Home Audio Integrated Circuits (IC's).

Before joining Philips, Jean worked as an R&D engineer at KGK Tokyo, where they developed high-speed image processing software for semiconductor in-line inspection. Jean also handled international marketing and promotion for the portfolio. Earlier in their career, Jean worked as a Research Fellow in Computer Acoustics at Kogakuin / Waseda University Tokyo.

Jean van Eeghem obtained a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering and Physics from the Eindhoven University of Technology in 1996. Jean also received the certification of Ir - PE from the same institution in April 1996.
