Ben Steed has a diverse work experience spanning several roles in the technology and retail industries. From 2013 to 2017, Ben worked at ADA Networks Ltd as a Network Engineer, where they served as the technical lead in a role involving pre-sales/ consulting activities, design, implementation, and post-sales technical support. Their responsibilities included designing solutions encompassing wired, wireless, and security elements using HPE Networking and Fortinet products.

Before that, Ben worked at HP UK from 2010 to 2013. Ben held the positions of Network Consultant and Technology Consultant, where they utilized their expertise in network technology and consulting to provide valuable solutions.

Ben's career began in 2006 at Staffordshire University, where they studied various Cisco certifications and gained skills in managing wireless access points, switches, routers, and firewall appliances. Ben completed their studies in 2010.

During their time at General Motors from 2008 to 2009, Ben worked as an Information Security Analyst, gaining valuable experience in firewall management and Microsoft SharePoint administration. Ben also had a role as an industry student, assisting with projects in the European security office.

Prior to their professional career, Ben gained customer service and team management experience at Waitrose as a Supermarket Assistant from 2004 to 2008. Ben also worked as a Shopfloor Assistant at Blacks Leisure Group from 2003 to 2004.

Overall, Ben has a strong background in network security, consulting, and technical support, with experience in various industries such as technology, retail, and academia.

Ben Steed completed their education at two different institutions. Ben began their academic journey at Newbury College, Berkshire, from 2003 to 2005, where they obtained a BTEC National Diploma in Systems Support. Ben then went on to attend Staffordshire University from 2006 to 2010, earning a First Class Honours degree in Bsc Computer Networks & Security.

In addition to their formal education, Ben Steed has obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills.
