Gerard Buckley

President NTID & VP & Dean RIT at Rochester Institute of Technology

Gerard Buckley is the President of NTID and VP and Dean at Rochester Institute of Technology. Gerard has over 25 years of experience working in higher education, including 17 years at NTID. Gerard has held various positions during their time at NTID, including Associate Dean of Student Services and Center Director of the Center for Outreach. In these roles, they have worked with students, parents, and staff on resolving policy-related issues, coordinated special services for NTID students, and provided oversight to NTID Financial Aid Services. Gerard has also been responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing relationships with key external groups. Gerard Buckley is committed to helping students transition successfully from high school to college and from college to the workplace.

Gerard Buckley has an Ed.D. in Special Education from The University of Kansas, an MSW in Social Work from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and a BS in Social Work from Rochester Institute of Technology.
