Gretchen Mitchell serves as the Campus Administrator of the San Ysidro Multisite at The Rock Church since June 2014. Prior to this role, Gretchen was the Executive Assistant at the SDSU Pre-College Institute from January 2005 to June 2014, supporting the Executive Director with administrative tasks, meeting arrangements, and travel coordination. Gretchen also held positions at The Rock Church, starting as a Volunteer Design Assistant in 2011 and transitioning to a Design Administrative Assistant in 2013, where responsibilities included managing the Design Director's calendar and client interactions. Earlier experience includes roles as an Administrative Assistant at SDSU Research Foundation and a brief stint as an Accounting Clerk with Western Temporary Services. Gretchen's academic background includes general education coursework at San Diego City College from 1981 to 1983.
