Michael Gaab

Chief Human Capital Officer at Rockefeller Capital Management

Michael Gaab is the Chief Human Capital Officer of Rockefeller Capital Management. He is a member of the firm’s Management Committee.

In his role, Michael is responsible for driving key organizational priorities across all areas of Human Capital, including total rewards, talent acquisition, employee development, and HR technology. Michael joined Rockefeller in November 2018 as the Head of Compensation & Benefits.

Prior to Rockefeller, Michael spent eight years working as a compensation leader at BNY Mellon where he partnered with executive leaders to create and implement global reward strategies. Most recently before joining Rockefeller, Michael was the Head of Compensation for BNY Mellon’s Wealth Management business, which managed over $230B in client assets and had over 2,000 employees.

Michael earned his undergraduate degree in business administration from the Georgetown University McDonough School of Business.
