John Lacava

John LaCava is a distinguished research professional with extensive experience in molecular genetics and cellular biology. Currently serving as a Research Associate Professor at The Rockefeller University since January 2016, John also founded and manages B13LOGY LLC, which offers consulting and analytical services in life sciences. Additionally, John is a Group Leader at the European Research Institute for the Biology of Ageing and has held positions such as Scientific Director at ArtSci Nexus and Visiting Assistant Professor at NYU Langone Medical Center. John earned a Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics from The University of Edinburgh and holds a B.S. and A.S. in Biotechnology from the University of California, Davis, and Massachusetts Bay Community College, respectively.
