Priyam Banerjee

Priyam Banerjee, Ph.D., currently serves as a Senior Staff Scientist at The Rockefeller University, where research characterizes the nanoscale organization of Piezo1 ion channels in red blood cells using super-resolution STED microscopy. Prior experience includes scientific consulting at ExpertConnect, where extensive knowledge of cell biology supports various biotechnology projects, and an instructor position at MD Anderson Cancer Center, where multiple cancer research projects were successfully completed and published in high-impact journals. Priyam Banerjee also held a postdoctoral research fellowship focusing on lung cancer metastasis, as well as pre-doctoral research exploring protein protection in heart muscle cells, leading to significant contributions in reputable biomedical publications.
