Roberto Giaccio

Roberto Giaccio is currently the CTO and Executive Director at Rocket Capital Investment. Prior to this, they were a lecturer at SIAT - Società Italiana Analisi Tecnica from January 2018 to May 2020. There, they taught the Data Science module of the Master in Technical Analysis of Financial Markets - Data Science module (Certified ISO 9001): Genetic trading systems. Before SIAT, Roberto was a project manager at Sapienza Università di Roma from June 2017 to November 2017. There, they were in charge of designing a document sharing system with high security constraints. Roberto also helped the team on the adoption of new methodologies and tools. Roberto has also been a program manager at Istituto della Enciclopedia Italiana fondata da Giovanni Treccani from April 2016 to December 2020. There, they were in charge of the Treccani Digital Library, jointly with CERN and CNR, and the IT transformation program of Treccani (new CRM, BI, DMS, CMS). Prior to their work at Istituto della Enciclopedia Italiana, Roberto was a consultant at Agic Technology from September 2015 to April 2016 and at ISTAT from June 2013 to January 2014.

Roberto Giaccio has earned a PhD in Informatics from Sapienza Università di Roma, a Master's degree in Electronical Engineering from the same school, and a Compimento medio (8-th year) of Piano from Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia in Rome.
