Catarina Silva

Catarina Silva has a diverse work experience in the aerospace industry. Catarina is currently working as a Project Manager and Team Leader at Rocket Factory Augsburg - RFA since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Airbus Defence and Space Netherlands B.V. from February 2019 to October 2021, where they served as a Business Development and Sales Coordination role, focusing on developing a new product for the solar arrays market. Catarina also worked at Airbus Defence and Space Netherlands B.V. as an AOCS Systems Engineer from September 2016 to November 2018. Before that, they were a Systems and AIV Engineer at ISIS - Innovative Solutions in Space BV from January 2014 to August 2016. Catarina gained valuable experience as a Trainee - GNC Systems Engineer at ESTEC, European Space Agency from March 2012 to November 2013. Catarina started their career as a Stagiaire - GNC Systems Engineer at ESTEC, European Space Agency from February 2011 to August 2011.

Catarina Silva completed their education with a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico. Catarina pursued this degree from 2005 to 2011. Following that, they pursued a Masters in Business Administration from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, from 2017 to 2018. In addition to their formal education, Catarina Silva also obtained a certification in Space Systems Engineering from the University of Southampton, although the specific date of completion is unknown.
