Gioele Daka

Gioele Daka has work experience in the aerospace industry, with positions at Rocket Factory Augsburg (RFA) and SSC - Swedish Space Corporation. At RFA, Gioele worked as an Intern in the Launch department from September 2022 to December 2022. Currently, Gioele holds the position of Launch Operations Engineer at RFA, starting in January 2023. At SSC, Gioele served as an Intern in the Orbital Launch & Rocket Test department from February 2022 to August 2022. In this role, Gioele conducted tests on ablative materials for concrete pad protection, procured materials, developed experimental setups, prepared technical documentation, and collaborated with various stakeholders.

Gioele Daka has a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering from Politecnico di Milano. Gioele also holds a Master of Science degree in the same field from KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Additionally, they participated in an Erasmus+ program at the University of Stuttgart, where they focused on Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering. In terms of certifications, Gioele obtained a Cambridge English Level 3 Certificate in ESOL International (Advanced) - CEFR C2 from Cambridge Assessment English in 2017, and a telc Deutsche C1 Hochschule certification from telc GmbH - The European Language Certificates in 2016.
