Adam B.

Adam B. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Adam has recently worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Rocket Money (formerly Truebill) since 2022. Prior to that, they were an Engineering Manager at Aspire from March 2022 to June 2022. At Aspire, they led a team in scoping, building, and shipping new user onboarding wizard and creator search overhaul. Adam also organized and prioritized the team backlog, introduced process changes, and improved quality and knowledge sharing.

Before joining Aspire, Adam worked at Webflow as an Engineering Manager from February 2019 to March 2022. Adam was responsible for phone screens, interviews, and wrote female-encoded job descriptions. Adam also coordinated company buy-in for a tool to track engineer career paths. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer from October 2017 to February 2019 at Webflow, where they focused on technical debt cleanup, data migration, and served as the tech lead for the order management system.

Prior to Webflow, Adam worked as a Web Development Manager at Stardog Union from February 2017 to August 2017, where they led web-related development efforts, built a customer portal using AWS and React, and rewrote the core open-source library, stardog.

Adam also has experience at Walmart Global eCommerce, where they served as a Senior Frontend Engineer from March 2015 to January 2017 and as a Senior Node Engineer from June 2014 to March 2015. Adam worked on Angular development, implemented features, and served as a lead maintainer for open-source Node modules.

Before Walmart, Adam worked at Branding Brand as a Lead Project Engineer from February 2013 to June 2014 and as a Senior API Developer from August 2012 to February 2013. Adam managed the development of mobile properties and built APIs using Node.js and Express.

Prior to that, Adam worked as a Developer Analyst at K&L Gates from February 2011 to August 2012, where they designed and implemented internal web applications, presented new technologies, and assisted with UI design. Adam also worked as a Developer Analyst III at LPS Empower from September 2010 to February 2011, debugging and enhancing code, designing user interface screens, and managing source code check-ins and merges.

Adam's early experience includes working as a Solution Developer at Guardian Protection Services from December 2009 to September 2010, where they developed web applications, redesigned existing applications, and improved Crystal reports. Adam also worked as a Software Engineer at Nucleus LLC from June 2007 to December 2009, designing interface screens, architecting solutions, and building efficient database queries.
