Jenny Smolek

Jenny Smolek is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in the mortgage industry. Currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at Rocket Mortgage since March 2011, Jenny leads multiple teams that have successfully transformed mortgage servicing into a streamlined, self-service experience. Prior to this role, Jenny held various engineering and operations positions at Citadel, where contributions included advancing technology in Mortgage Backed Securities, and at Aegis Wholesale Corporation, overseeing operations across 36 branches. Jenny’s career began at Dolphin Mortgage Corporation, managing processing teams to ensure compliance. Academically, Jenny holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, a Master of Science in Information Systems Technology from Wilmington University, and is pursuing an AI Strategy Certificate from Cornell University.
