Sally Stras, PhD, CSCP has a diverse work experience that spans various industries. Sally is currently working as an Associate Director of Supply Chain Planning & Strategy at Rocket Pharmaceuticals, a position they started in 2023. Prior to this, they were a Senior Manager of Commercial Packaging at EQRx from 2022 to 2023.
Sally has also held multiple roles at Amicus Therapeutics, starting as a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Data Analytics from 2018 to 2019. Sally then progressed to become a Senior Data Analytics Associate, responsible for leading supply chain data analysis efforts. Sally later served as a Supply Chain Senior Associate and a Supply Chain Manager, focusing on optimizing lead times and improving cycle time efficiencies.
Before joining Amicus Therapeutics, Sally conducted their PhD research at Rutgers University from 2012 to 2018. Sally'sresearch focused on improving the efficacy of liposomal formulations containing chemotherapeutic agents. During this time, they gained expertise in liposome characterization, in vitro experimentation, and enhancing drug delivery to tumor interstitium.
Sally also worked as a Collaborative Researcher at Princeton University in 2017, developing liposomes designed to release contents upon near infrared (NIR) laser beam irradiation. Additionally, they gained research experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Vincent Rotello's Research Lab, where they worked on gold nanoparticles for drug delivery, and as a Research Experience for Undergraduates at the University of New Mexico, investigating the aggregation of Amyloid-β peptide.
Sally also completed an internship at Trophos Energy, where they assisted in the development of microbial fuel cell (MFC) technology.

Sally Stras, PhD, CSCP has an extensive education history. Sally began their academic journey in 2007 at UMass Amherst, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering. During their time at UMass Amherst, Sally concentrated on biochemical engineering.
In 2009, Sally took the opportunity to participate in a study abroad program at The University of Queensland. This experience allowed their to further broaden their knowledge in Chemical Engineering.
After completing their undergraduate studies, Sally joined Rutgers University in 2012. Sally simultaneously pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree and a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Engineering. Sally'sdoctoral research focused on Chemical Engineering with a specialization in the field of Chemical Engineering.
Sally successfully completed both their PhD and Master's degrees at Rutgers University in 2017. Sally'seducational background showcases a strong foundation in Chemical Engineering, coupled with a specialization in Pharmaceutical Engineering.
