Adam Hitchens

Adam Hitchens is a passionate full-stack engineer with over 9 years of experience in developing scalable backend and frontend applications using technologies such as Typescript, Java, Scala, and C#. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Rocket Travel since January 2023, Adam previously held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Livly, where responsibilities included defining product features and designing scalable solutions. Prior roles include Software Engineer at UL, focusing on data ingestion processes, and Software Engineer at Tecture, LLC, developing and maintaining multiple websites. Adam's early experience includes an internship at Amdocs, where a website was created to index log files across numerous servers. Adam earned a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems/Information Technology and Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
