David B. Smith

David B. Smith, CFA, has extensive experience in the investment and wealth management industry. David B. served as the Chief Investment Officer at Rockland Trust from December 2003, overseeing $3.7 billion in assets for clients. Prior to that, they worked at BNY Mellon as a Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager from September 2001 to March 2003, specializing in small cap and mid cap growth equity strategies. Smith also held the position of Senior Portfolio Manager at State Street from September 1990 to September 2001, managing various equity strategies for individual and institutional clients.

David B. Smith, CFA holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Finance from Suffolk University - Sawyer Business School, obtained between 1993 and 1999. David B. also has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
