Victor Pushparaj

Victor Pushparaj, PhD, has a diverse work experience in the field of reliability, compliance, and process engineering. Victor is currently a Sr. Director at Rockley Photonics Inc., where they head the reliability, compliance, and failure analysis team for wearable devices that detect biomarkers using optics. Prior to this, they worked at Butterfly Network, Inc. as a Director, where they were responsible for process engineering, integration, and reliability of an ultrasound on a chip for full body scanners. Victor also has experience in managing a reliability team at TDK InvenSense, where they focused on designing and executing reliability tests for automotive and consumer MEMS sensors. Furthermore, they held the position of Reliability Engineering Manager at ON Semiconductor, where they successfully designed and executed reliability stress tests for MEMS IMU sensors used in VR controllers. Their earlier roles include being a Staff Engineer at Qualcomm MEMS Technologies and a Senior Process Engineer at Applied Materials, where their work focused on failure analysis, reliability testing, and process development. Victor also has research experience as a Research Specialist at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where they worked on projects involving supercapacitors, batteries, pressure sensors, and nanoFETs.

Victor Pushparaj holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Materials Science from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc). Victor also has a research background from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. In addition to their academic achievements, Victor has obtained several certifications, including "Functional safety in Automotive: Introduction to the ISO26262:2018 standard" from RESILTECH - ISO26262 in February 2019, and a certification as a Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) from ASQ. Victor has also completed various online courses, including "Competitive Strategy" from Coursera, "Financial Accounting Fundamentals" from Babson College - Coursera, "Introduction to Operational Management" from UPENN (Wharton School) - Coursera, and "Managerial Accounting Fundamentals" from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business - Coursera.
