Jason Coil

Jason Coil has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and research. Jason started their career as a Research Assistant at Carleton University in 2018, where they collaborated with a PHD student to assess the validity of 3D printed material for the aerospace industry. During this role, Jason conducted various tests and experiments, including fatigue and tensile tests, DIC analysis, DSC and TGA experiments, and cold-mounting for microscopic images. Jason also contributed to the writing of two papers.

In 2019, Jason continued their research work at Carleton University as a Research Assistant, focusing on laser removal of aerospace coatings and its impact on surface and mechanical properties of materials. Jason designed test procedures and conducted testing and analysis.
