Jarod Rosson

Jarod Rosson, MPA, is an experienced emergency management professional currently serving as the Emergency Management Coordinator for Rockwall County since April 2019. Responsibilities include grant management, ambulance contract oversight, all hazard and continuity of operations planning, and public education initiatives. Jarod has responded to significant events such as Winter Storm Uri and COVID-19. Prior to this role, Jarod served as a Reserve Deputy at Nolan County Sheriff's Office and gained valuable experience through internships and scholarly research at the University of North Texas and various city departments. With a Master of Public Administration from the University of North Texas and a Bachelor of Arts in History from McMurry University, Jarod has a solid educational foundation and practical expertise in emergency management and public safety.
