Brian Robinson

Brian Robinson is an accomplished engineering executive with extensive experience in software development and engineering management. Currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at Rockwell Automation since May 2019, Brian oversees a global team responsible for embedded software, system architecture, testing, and security across various products. Previously, Brian held multiple leadership roles at ABB from 2000 to 2019, including Director of Software Improvement and Senior Principal Engineer, where responsibilities included leading global software development improvement initiatives and managing research programs. Brian's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Software Engineering and a Master’s in Computer Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Ohio Northern University.
