Calvin Zhou

Calvin Zhou has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Calvin most recently worked at RockX as the Head of Engineering since 2019. Prior to that, they were a DevOps Engineer at C.O.S.S. PTE LTD from 2018 to 2019. In this role, they focused on building a CI/CD pipeline and implementing micro-service architecture using cloud and containerized solutions. Calvin also had experience with GCP, AWS, Jenkins, Terraform, Python, and other technical stack.

From 2016 to 2018, Calvin was a Solution Architect at Singtel. Calvin led high profile projects and was responsible for defining and documenting functional scope, as well as ensuring system performance and security. Calvin also led a DevOps team to improve the CI/CD pipeline and was involved in AWS well-architected program.

Before Singtel, Calvin worked at Parasoft as a Senior Regional Technical Consultant from 2012 to 2016. Calvin'srole involved providing automated testing solutions and mapping user requirements to seek sales opportunities in ASEAN countries.

Calvin started their career as a Project Leader at Ecquaria Technologies Pte Ltd from 2011 to 2012. In this role, they worked closely with customers, analyzed user requirements, and led a development team to enhance web applications.

Calvin also worked at NCS as an Application Consultant from 2008 to 2011. Calvin'sresponsibilities included providing software design and maintenance for systems and writing technical documents and user guides.

Calvin Zhou earned a Master of Technology degree in Software Engineering from the National University of Singapore, where they attended from 2009 to 2011. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career. Calvin received the "Review Security Design for Each System Development Project (CSSLP)" certification from the Institute of Systems Science, National University of Singapore in March 2014. In October 2017, they obtained the "AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate" certification from Amazon Web Services. Prior to that, in July 2011, they received the "Java EE 5 Enterprise Architect certification" from Oracle and the "The Open Group TOGAF 8 Certification" from The Open Group in June 2011.
