Joshua Thomas

Joshua Thomas has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology and cybersecurity. Joshua started their career at Ohio University, where they held roles as a Technical Support Analyst and later as an Information Security Analyst. Joshua then served as the Chief Information Security Officer on an interim basis.

Thomas later joined OCLC, where they served as the Information Security Officer, responsible for developing and implementing a global information security program. Joshua also held positions as the Senior Technical Manager for Network and Department Manager for Infrastructure Architecture and Network.

Currently, Thomas is working at Rocky Brands, Inc. as the VP of Information Technology. In this role, they provide leadership and direction for the company's use of information technology. Joshua is also responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the IT department and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Throughout their career, Joshua Thomas has gained extensive experience in IT management, cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, and incident response.

Joshua Thomas earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Ohio University, where they attended from 1992 to 1999. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained various certifications throughout their career. These include the Professional Scrum Master I certification from Scrum.org in August 2023, the ITIL v3 Foundation certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice in February 2015, the PCI Professional (PCIP) certification from the PCI Security Standards Council in November 2014, and the CISSP certification from (ISC)² in September 2004.
