Karla Arzola

Karla Arzola has a diverse work experience in various industries. Karla is currently the Chief Information Officer at Rocky Mountain Human Services. Previously, they worked as a Director of Information Technology at HealthONE, where they developed and executed a multi-year IT Strategic Plan. Before that, they held the position of Senior Director of IT & S at Medical City Healthcare and oversaw IT operations management for two facilities. Karla also worked as a Senior Director of Campus Technology at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, where they led the implementation of clinical systems and applications. Karla has experience in project management and collaborative opportunities as a Project Manager at The University of Texas at El Paso. Additionally, they have held positions as a New Product Introduction Manager at SecureOrigins, Inc. and GENPACT, where they managed the development and introduction of new products. Karla began their career as a Production Engineering Manager at Decore-ative Specialties.

Karla Arzola holds a Master's in Medical Informatics from Northwestern University, which they obtained from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from The University of Texas at El Paso from 1997 to 2001. In addition to their formal education, Karla has obtained several certifications including Digital Healthcare Executive, Green Belt Certification (GB), Certified Healthcare CIO (CHCIO), and Professional Consultancy. Karla is also a Certified Professional in Health Information and Management Systems, certified by HIMSS in 2016.
