Olivia Prieto

Olivia is a senior associate on the Carbon-Free Buildings team, where she works with state leaders and advocates to advance building decarbonization in the Mid-Atlantic. Olivia also investigates the role of low-carbon fuels, including green hydrogen and RNG, in the building sector.

Prior to joining RMI, Olivia worked primarily with utility clients as an energy consultant. She spent two years supporting a joint committee comprising the electric utilities in New York and the New York State Research and Development Authority to design and implement a new portfolio of energy efficiency programs for LMI customers. In her capacity as an energy consultant, Olivia also worked on a range of other projects involving utility regulation, rate design, and the sale of retail energy businesses. In addition, Olivia worked with the Institute of Market Transformation and ACEEE to support research related to the impact of energy efficiency policies on reducing building emissions.
