Shuo Gao

Shuo Gao is the Manager of the China Program at RMI. Prior to this, they were a Senior Associate at RMI from April 2021 to March 2022. Before that, they were a Senior Analyst / Project Manager at the Environmental Defense Fund from April 2017 to April 2021. From August 2016 to February 2017, they were an Associate in Research at Duke University. Shuo was also a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Duke University from August 2015 to April 2016. Additionally, they were a Research Intern at the Population Institute from April 2015 to July 2015 and a Student Consultant at Southern Company from March 2015 to May 2016. Her first position was as an Environmental Assessment Assistant at Peking University from July 2013 to September 2013.

Shuo Gao received a Master's Degree from Duke University and a Bachelor's Degree from Peking University.

They work with Lin Ye - Manager, China Program, Natalie Malouf - Program Assistant, Climate-Aligned Industries, and Aaron Brickman - Senior Principal, US Program. Their manager is Jon Creyts, Chief Program Officer.
