Katie Walker

Katie Walker, MFA, currently serves in Marketing and Sales Enablement at Rocky Nook, Inc., executing digital marketing strategies that significantly contribute to annual sales while producing online webinars to enhance brand reach. As a freelance writer for Ars Poetica and Haikuists, Katie delivers tailored micro-poems at private events. Previously, as Membership & Operations Manager for the Book Club of California, Katie directed membership marketing strategies for the organization. In earlier roles, Katie supported executive teams at Weldon Owen International, worked as an Editorial Assistant at various presses, and taught first-year composition with an emphasis on social justice at Saint Mary's College of California. Katie holds an MFA in Creative Writing and a Bachelor's degree in English from California State University-Sacramento.
