Said Hamido, Ph.D., is a Soil Scientist at Rodale Institute since March 2022, previously serving as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Florida from February 2015 to February 2022, focusing on nutrient and water management. Earlier, Said was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Montana State University, conducting research on carbon and nitrogen cycling from June 2014 to February 2015. Said earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Soil Sciences from Auburn University, where studies emphasized carbon sequestration and related dynamics in warm-season turfgrass management systems, while also contributing as a Teaching Assistant for Soil Chemistry Laboratories. Said holds a Master of Science in Environmental Sciences from Tuskegee University, completed in 2007.
