Veerle Carpels

Veerle Carpels has extensive experience in procurement and facility management, currently serving as Directeur Aankoop en Facility Management at Rode Kruis-Vlaanderen since 2008, after previously holding the position of Manager Aankoop. Prior to this, Veerle Carpels spent a decade at Atlas Copco Airpower from 1998 to 2008, where roles included Team Leader - Non Production Purchasing, Project Leader, and Purchaser. Veerle Carpels holds a degree in Industrieel Ingenieur, Biochemistry from KIHA (Katholieke Industriële Hogeschool Antwerpen), earned between 1994 and 1998.
