Wilco van Wijck

Wilco van Wijck currently serves as a member of the supervisory board and treasurer for the Dr. Denis Mukwege Foundation since April 2024. With extensive experience at the Dutch Red Cross since June 2001, including roles as head of association management and head of finance and control, Wilco is responsible for the financial management of the organization. Leadership extends to managing a team of over 15 finance professionals in the role of Finance Manager at the central office. Additionally, experience includes project leadership for the SP@RK initiative, focused on mapping processes and systems for future professionalization. Prior roles include head of planning and control and financial management positions at C3 Imagine and involvement as an accountant at Paardekooper & Hoffman from 1997 to 2001. Academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Accountancy from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht and a HAVO degree in Economics from Kalsbeek College.
