Hans-Peter Weber

Dr. Hans-Peter Weber, D.M.D., Dr. med. dent. is Professor and Chair of the Department of Prosthodontics and Operative Dentistry at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Prior to Tufts, he was the Nagle Professor and Chairman of the Department of Restorative Dentistry and Biomaterials Sciences at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Weber holds dental degrees from the University of Berne, Switzerland (Dr. med. dent.) and the Harvard School of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.), and dual Certificates in Prosthodontics and Periodontology from the University of Berne.

Dr. Weber has contributed extensively to the scientific literature in his field and is a frequently invited lecturer at national and international meetings. He is past president of the Academy of Prosthodontics, the oldest and most elite academy in dentistry, an Honorary Member of the American College of Prosthodontists, and a Member of the Board of the International Team for Implantology (ITI). Dr. Weber also serves as Associate Editor of the journal Clinical Oral Implants Research and is on the Editorial Board of the several major journals in prosthodontics, implantology, and periodontology. Dr. Weber is widely considered among the preeminent experts in implant dentistry worldwide.
